  • My daughter, now 12 years old, has danced at Mavlow School of Dance for 9 years and she has taken part in 5 excellent shows. She enjoys her lessons with Paula and Miss Mavis in the friendly, homely atmosphere of the studio. She has found many very good friends over the years. Just recently, she asked me if there are adult classes, because she doesn't want to leave the dance school once she is too old for the childrens classes. But luckily the answer is yes. - Bianca Marshall
  • Our daughter has been attending Mavlow School of Dance since she was 3. She is now 11 and has thoroughly enjoyed developing her dance skills! She does tap, modern, ballet and character and has made good progress in all areas. She has achieved medals and certificates over the past 8 years. She has developped socially and has grown in confidence. The dance teachers work tirelessly to prepare the students for their exams and dance shows. The dance shows are amazing, showing the talents from the youngest up to the oldest dancers. The choreography and costumes and variety of dances are second to none! These shows are enjoyed by parents, relatives and friends and the students love them. I would recommend Mavlow School of Dance to anybody interested in wanting their child to learn how to dance in a fun, happy way with hard working and dedicated staff, in a safe environment.
  • My daughter has been dancing at Mavlow since she was 2 1/4. Many people comment on her deportment and it has certainly assisted her ability to understand instructions in many areas of her life. She has made good friends and enjoys the expression dance gives her.
  • My daughters have been students at the Mavlow School of Dance for the last 4 or 5 years. I find the teaching very disciplined and thorough and the teachers very professional. My children enjoy the classes and I believe find them both challenging and fun. Parents are welcome to watch the final class of each term and I find this gives me a good idea of how they are progressing; they have both made good progress over the years and have successfully completed several exams at the school. My girls very much enjoy performing at the school show, which takes place every two years.
  • Our daughter loves tap and ballet with Miss Mavis and Paula. She's made lots of friends - its great exercise and she's really developing her dance and co-ordination skills. I am impressed with the way Paula knows every childs name.
  • Both our two girls have been dancing with Mavlow School of Dance since they were three years old - they are now 7 and 5. Both of them thoroughly enjoy all of their dancing classes, have loved being part of the big shows and have proudly achieved medals and certificates. We would all highly recommend Mavlow to any child who wishes to dance and have fun!
  • Our daughter is 15, and has attended Mavlow since she was 4 years old. She enjoys learning Ballet at Mavlow, which has helped with her fitness and posture. She has made lots of friends there too.
  • Our two girls have been attending Pre-primary Ballet and Tap classes at Mavlow for the past twelve months and enjoy it very much. The atmosphere is happy and friendly, and there has always been something to work towards, whether it be a Medal Test or a Show. This has provided much excitement! In particular, the show in the summer of 2009 was a great success and a memorable experience for both our little girls.
  • My daughter has danced at Mavlow for thirteen years. She thoroughly enjoys her lessons there.
  • Having had 3 girls at this dancing school for the past 20 years, I can really recomment it. It is wonderful to see them start at 3 just learning to point their toes in time with the music and then leave some 15 years later as competent dancers. Yes, there are times when dancing lessons become hard - in the run up to exams when expectations have to be much higher for the students to gain the standards they do achieve, but my girls have enjoyed to dance, keeping fit (legs and tummies do ache after the hols!) and making friends.
  • I started dancing when I was 3, ever since I have thoroughly enjoyed it because we do lots of fun exercises and I have lots of friends. I'll keep dancing!!! - Anna Billington, Pupil, Age 9
